Collaboration: 20-page booklet brochure for a girls’ summer camp

Front Cover / 10″ x 7″

To get this project off the ground, Chuck Fultz of Ronningen Design provided me with sketches for each page. I then filled in the layouts, loading text and photos, and making decisions about the finer details. For the cover (shown at left) I created a single color version of the client's established logo.

For the inside cover, I set up the overlapping foliage graphic and formatted the tagline. For the opposite page I selected photography and designed the layout.

With only a few exceptions, each spread has one full page photo opposing a text description. The scenic photo is a perfect backdrop for a testimonial quote.

Notice the "camp secret" box changes position from spread to spread; I created a separate style for when it's placed on a photo.
